Jaime is in an international executive with over 30 years of experience in the banking and finance industry, working in Spain, Turkey, Italy, and the Isle of Man. He is currently CEO of Pozitive Payments Ltd (Pozitive Group). Before Pozitive Payments he was Country Head of HSBC Isle of Man, having previously held a number of senior banking and finance roles at BNL-BNP, Grupo Ferrovial, and JP Morgan Chase. His career has been focused on supporting the growth and internationalisation of businesses, especially in the engineering, telecoms, and digital industries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, and Master’s degrees in Environmental Management, Business Administration, Finance, and Digital Marketing.
He has over 20 years of experience as ED and NED in numerous boards. In addition to his role as Board Member of BITA IOM, he is currently a NED/Board Member of Junior Achievement Isle of Man, Isle of Man Government's Digital Agency, the Manx Wildlife Trust, and Inversus Capital (IOM). He also enjoys lecturing, having been a Professor of Finance at the EOI Business School in Madrid for over a decade. Jaime is also a Career Mentor for CareerReady and a Business Mentor for the IOM Chamber of Commerce.
Jaime is a passionate environmentalist and the founder of PlasticBusters, an award-winning international organisation which counts with thousands of volunteers in 103 countries working to protect the environment.
