World Clean Up Day unites millions of volunteers, governments and organisations in 191 countries to tackle the global waste problem and build up the new and sustainable world. Lets join hands again for a waste-free world! Last year there were 60million volunteers and 303kt of waste collected globally, with excellent initiatives from BITA members across the UK and Ireland.

BITA is encouraging our members to take part and arrange a clean up of their local area - park, town, street or other - with your colleagues, friends or family. This is a great way to encourage pride in your area, while helping out people and wildlife. When you've done your litter-pick, send us your photos or tag us on social media, and we'll be sure to celebrate your hard work!
