Sustainability - Climate Change and the impact from Industry

Join to board of BITA Liverpool Chapter for their sustainability event on Tuesday 17th May from 5 pm till 7 pm.  

The event will start with an opportunity to network with fellow members from across BITA and the local business community, and take a walk around the Open Eye Gallery.  We will then be joined by a panel of experts for a discussion on sustainability and how the different organisations are working to create a more sustainable future for construction and homes.

We will be joined by:

• Richard Fitton - The University of Salford Energy House Project,
  • in collaboration with the University of Salford Art Collection and the Open Eye Gallery.
• Brendon Kenny - Changing Streams
  • Working to bridge the gap between industry and academia to create planet-friendly construction materials and methods.
• Jamies Blennerhassett - Hassett Homes
  • Building homes with an ethos to provide better-shared environments and support communities with a sense of social consciousness and a level of integrity, respect and compassion for the world in which we live.
• Michael Mackie - Vision Utilities
  • Helping educational institutions to support the fight against climate change with their ‘Go Green: For Education’ programme.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and make this an evening for a thought-provoking discussion.
