Session One - Rethinking Construction Logisitics
Transport for London for London (TfL) have adopted the Healthy Streets Approach to improve air quality, reduce congestion and help make London’s diverse communities greener, healthier and more attractive places to live, work, play and do business. Meeting Vision Zero and Air Quality improvements are a priority. Construction generates huge amounts of pollution and transport is one of the biggest culprits. HGVs are involved with 25% pedestrian & 60% cyclist fatalities therefore it makes sense to rethink construction logistics plans. Empathetic and all-inclusive approaches can pay big dividends.
In this the first of a series of three session, hear how Michael challenges project teams and works with them to introduce innovative, pragmatic and proactive methods all geared towards reducing disruption, cutting environmental impacts and make the whole process safer.
