My time in BITA has been truly enriching, and I've been fortunate to receive a warm welcome not only in Surrey but also in the London, Kent, and Cork branches. The contacts I've made and the supportive business friends I've found have been invaluable. I'm delighted and honored to have been invited to join the Surrey Board, and I'm deeply grateful to Maria Lawless for her unwavering support. Her support has been a driving force in my mission to expand BITA membership in Surrey.

All this networking is a good foundation in preparation for Business Exit Academy launch. This unique service is designed for business owners who are thinking about or planning to exit their business in the near future. It’s creation emerged from conversations with hundreds of business owners who want to sell their business but don’t know where to begin.

To make the most of this new venture, here is how BITA has helped me:

• Leveraging My Network: New connections built within Bita have joined as founder members or provided (as business owners) insights to enhance the Business Exit Academy. 
• Raising my profile: Lot’s of great meetings around the country and online to attend. Invited to speak as a panellist at the now ‘legendary’ BITA Cork lunch. (Photo of me and a new Cork friend)
• Collaborating with Other Professionals: There are fabulous opportunities to develop relationships with fellow M&A professionals. The business opportunities are great but I value the opportunity to receive and share knowledge.
