As the Founder of ‘Offshore Solar’, I am committed to our planet and hitting net zero by 2050 on a global scale.
I am originally from North Lincolnshire and moved to Cornwall in 2016, but I have always stayed connected with my Northern home whilst developing a home for me and my family in the South West.
I have had the honour to work in both the maritime and renewable energy sectors for over 14 years, focusing on innovative ways to generate zero-carbon and low-carbon energy for industry and the built environment without disrupting the day-to-day lives of everyday people. The transition will be hard work, but we need to ensure the change is kept as simple and undisruptive as possible to keep up the motivation to change.
On my journey as an entrepreneur, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly and I offer a wealth of hard lessons to any founder or business operator to support them in their roles and help them grow and develop as individuals.
