Marnie Delaney-James, founder and director of Isle ff Man Opportunities was born in Newcastle, North of England and spent several years in Surrey before moving to South Africa.
Marnie worked in hospitality for numerous years, holding a number of senior positions across leading hotel brands, before changing direction entirely and setting up Isle of Man Opportunities
The decision to start Isle of Man Opportunities was a natural move for Marnie, as a Brit now living in a foreign country herself, she fully understands the complexities of relocating to a different country. Isle of Man Opportunities guides non Manx clients through the entire relocation, recruitment and immigration process. Marnie herself knows first-hand that moving miles away from who and what is familiar can be incredibly stressful so becoming a specialist able to answer a myriad of questions and allay fears made perfect sense.
Isle of Man Opportunities was the official strategic partner of the Isle of Man Government. Department for Enterprise in 2023-2024.
Marnie currently lives in Cape Town, South Africa with her husband and four teenage boys and two dogs. She travels regularly to the Isle of Man and so is a valuable source during the transition to the island.
