John is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of project experience. A former lead design engineer and senior project manager predominately on rail projects for Tier 1 contractors such as Laing O'Rourke and on projects such as Tideway and Crossrail.
He is the CEO of SymTerra, a communication platform established in 2021 and now being used on £10bn worth of projects across the UK & Europe. SymTerra has been backed by some of the largest global Venture Capitalists and in October 2023 was recognised as one of Bloomberg's top 25 UK start-ups, underscoring his impact on the industry to date.
