Eddie commenced his career working in the UK for Alfred McAlpine in the late 80s and for 12 years worked his way up through the ranks leaving them as Snr. Contracts manager. During this time Eddie gained an in-dept knowledge of the construction industry which formed the bases for his progression into senior management.
In 2000 Eddie returned to Ireland to take up a position of Construction Director with Michael McNamara’s & Sons and spent the following 10 years taking overall responsibility for the delivery major projects including the Point Village, St Vincents Hospital and The Shelbourne Hotel.
When the economic downturn arrived in 2009, Eddie relocated to the Middle East with John Paul Construction and set up and managed the Saudi based company, Absal Paul Ltd, which carried out works for blue chip clients such as Haliburton, Four Seasons Hotel Group, TNT Distribution.
On returning to Ireland in 2017 Eddie took up the position of Managing Director with Mac Group in Dublin and in 2021 he took up his current role of Managing Director UK for the Elliott Group.
