Tuam's DigiTally achieves third business all-star accreditation

Our Connacht TRIBE is strong 💪

This afternoon we're shining our spotlight on one of our great western businesses, DigiTally.

The profitability & inventory management experts led by Patrick McDermott and Artur Leonowicz have secured some brilliant coverage in the Galway Advertiser who've covered their latest success story.

DigiTally achieved AIBF All-Star International Food Sustainability Management Technology Accreditation in recognition of their positive impact on the hospitality industry.

It's their third consecutive Business All-Star Accreditation which underlines their dedication to operational excellence.

We're proud to be part of the DigiTally journey and look forward to our continued association with their brilliant team.

Tuam based stocktaking solution DigiTally has achieved Business All-Star Accreditation with the All-Ireland Business Foundation for the third consecutive year.

DigiTally has built a strong customer base by reducing food waste, improving profit margins and simplifying stocktaking for their clients.

They have achieved AIBF All-Star International Food Sustainability Management Technology Accreditation in recognition of their positive impact on the hospitality industry.

Business All-Star Accreditation is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria.

The accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

Reacting to the announcement, DigiTally Co-Founder Patrick Mcdermott said the DigiTally team is proud to achieve AIBF All-Star International Food Sustainability Management Technology Accreditation.

“This honour recognises our contribution to best practice in food sustainability and shows that we are executing on our mission to reduce food waste and improves profit margins for our clients.

“This is our third Business All-Star Accreditation which underlines our dedication to quality and best practice in everything we do.

“We would like to thank our clients who support the work that we are so passionate about- this achievement is for you,” he said.

Deputy Chair on the Adjudication Board Kieran Ring, said that this accreditation is in recognition of the company’s outstanding contribution to best practice in food inventory and sustainability. “Furthermore, we wish to recognise DigiTally’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performance & customer-centricity. DigiTally is hereby included in the AIBF Register Of Irish Business Excellence for the third year in a row.”

Managing Director of the All-Ireland Business Foundation Kapil Khanna said the accreditation, which is now held by over 500 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors.

“We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience. The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”

The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF ) is an autonomous national accreditation body tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business.

The Foundation actively engages and supports its network through peer dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and enterprise development activities. Companies are qualified for accreditation by completing an enterprise audit and are identified by their use of the AIBF’s Business All-Star Marque.
