Based in Caherlistrane, Co. Galway in the West of Ireland for over 20 years (originally from Shankill Co. Dublin), I’m passionate about developing and growing business for STIRA - Folding Attic Stairs Ltd., a trusted Irish brand that continues to manufacture and install quality loft ladder systems for over 40 years.
What gets me motivated is the huge growth potential with this established and trusted Irish brand, developing new markets for STIRAs range of quality offerings, as well as driving innovations to meet market requirements both nationally and internationally.
I’m a huge advocate of BITA and extremely proud to have been the Ireland West chapters’ inaugural chapter chair, and now support the current chapter chair from my position on the board.

Along with the current board members, I look forward to growing the Ireland West chapter and helping BITA members to form strong business relationships across the wider BITA network.
With reference to STIRA, since 1983 we manufacture and install some of the safest and strongest loft ladder systems available in both the Irish and UK markets. My intention is to continue to grow long lasting, customer focused relationships where STIRA become the trusted and valued supply and fit partners to more developers and builders throughout the UK and Ireland.
Connections and Introductions: I am looking to be connected or introduced to low density house builders. Developers and builders in both Ireland and the UK where we at STIRA can add value.
My other passion is rugby where I volunteer as chair of the Rugby committee, sitting on the Executive committee at our local rugby club (Corrib RFC in Headford, Co. Galway). Whilst I recently hung up my coaching boots and whistle, I now watch and support the young players I coached for 8 seasons with great pride as they continue the next stage of their rugby pathway.
I tried my hand at golf during the pandemic…………….tough game!
