I am a chartered quantity surveyor with 20+ years’ experience in the Construction and Engineering industry both in Ireland and abroad. I joined Sisk as a graduate quantity surveyor in 2002 and have progressed through their ranks to my current role with continuous training and professional development. My passion for the construction industry dates back to my teenage years working on sites while studying which provided a solid grounding for my career to date.
During my time I have gained considerable expertise across sectors such as Energy, Data, Pharmaceutical, Civils, Retail and Residential each with their own intricacies and challenges and continuing to learn every day! The construction industry is fast paced which intrigues and propels me to deliver excellence for our client and business partners.
I am also very passionate about developing the next generation of commercial staff and have developed mentoring, coaching and recruitment process within our business to ensure the best people are working with us. This interaction has provided a new perspective on more modern methods of doing our job which is refreshing allows me to stay relevant.
In my spare time you will likely find me on the sideline at some GAA match in my home county of Cork.
