We are very excited to announce and welcome newly appointed Chapter Chair of Cork, Stephen Wilson Downey! We would like to thank Patrick Kierans for his commitment to BITA Cork and would like to take this opportunity to wish Patrick every success in his future endeavours.
Stephen has been a long term member of BITA Cork, becoming a Board Member of the chapter, and now stepping into the role of Chair. He says;
“I look forward to working with everyone to grow the chapter and see how Cork can make a difference both locally and internationally. Secondly, I look forward to organising events that will bring the community much closer and increase the level of trade and collaboration for all”.
The founder & CEO of Spéire, originating from the hospitality industry, Stephen developed a huge interest in business and technology. He is passionate about ensuring that all businesses have access to next generation technology in a way that is transparent and value adding.
We would like to say a huge congratulations to Stephen on stepping into this new role and we are very much looking forward to the contribution Stephen will make to the Cork chapter as Chair of the Board, as well as the impact they will have on BITA as a whole!
