Bridie began her career on a graduate training scheme with retailing giant Marks and Spencer. During a 15 year career in the company she had a number of senior sales and operational roles, both in the UK and overseas. She then moved to Carphone Warehouse where she was Head of UK Retail Productivity and was a member of the team that helped the business enter the FTSE 100.

After running a fashion business, Bridie was keen to return to the sales and marketing sector and founded Portman Scott an Executive Search and Recruitment company that specialises working with growth businesses. They currently have clients across all sectors.

Bridie joined the London BITA board in September 2019 and was appointed Vice Chairperson in March 2020. “I love working with both Irish and UK business owners who are members of BITA.”
