Live Launch for Thirty Years of Irish Football in the Premier League

The Consul General of Ireland for the North of England, Sarah Mangan, is delighted to host and invite our BITA members to the live launch of the book, Away Days – Thirty Years of Irish Footballers in the Premier League at the National Football Museum (Urbis Building, Cathedral Gardens, Todd St, Manchester, M4 3BG), on Thursday 27th April from 6pm-9pm.

Over its first thirty years, the English Premier League has grown to become the richest and most popular league in football – and Irish players have been at the heart of its success from the very beginning. Award winning journalist and Communications Manager with the Football Association of Ireland, Gareth Maher exclusively interviews thirty of those players. This book is their story!

Doors open at 6pm with free access to the museum’s exhibition space. The event MC on the night is the famous voice of Old Trafford, Alan Keegan, who will host a panel discussion and Q&A from 7-9pm. We are honoured to present the following panellists with more to be confirmed in the coming days.

This is a fantastic event for BITA Manchester members, Irish members and any football fans to attend!
