Innovative Businesses in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland Recognised at Causeway Awards 2021

Winners of the fifth Causeway: Ireland Scotland Business Exchange awards were announced at a glittering awards ceremony held at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh on 7 October 2021.

Sponsored by Cooper Software, this event showcases the strength of business ties between the Island of Ireland and Scotland and recognises the achievements of outstanding organisations and individuals that successfully trade on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Amongst the 250 guests attending, at one of the first black-tie event in Edinburgh since Covid-19 restrictions lifted, were Ivan McKee, the Scottish Government’s Minister for Business, Trade, Tourism and Enterprise; the City of Edinburgh’s Depute Lord Provost Councillor Joan Griffiths MBE; and Consul General of Ireland to Scotland, Jane McCulloch.

Causeway, a not-for-profit membership organisation set up in 2016, to maximise growth opportunities for businesses and champions trade relations between Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. It has a Board operating from Scotland, made up of representatives from all three countries.
