Steroplast Healthcare with the support of North West Counter Terror Police, Business Connect Magazine, Oliver Cookson Foundation and Manchester United Football Club would like to invite BITA members to Action Counters Terrorism (ACT) event on Tuesday, 6th February from 9.30am until 1.30pm at Manchester United Football Club!
ACT Awareness courses have been developed by the National Counter Terror Office and are delivered across the country by local Counter Terror Police Officers.
ACT Awarness courses are run monthly in Manchester with the security sector and the night time economy and Steroplast regularly support this.
During the event you will look at:
- How to recognise hostile reconnaissance
- Recognise radical behaviour of colleagues/friends
- Looks at different terrorist groups
- Attack methods
- Talks about the current terror threat
- Suspicious packages
- Run/hide/tell
- What to do if involved in a terror attack
They will be talking about the latest updates on Martyn’s Law and what this means for public places etc.
