AF&V Launchpad are taking part in the Rock2Rock Cycle Ride

On September 17th, Isle of Man Chapter Chair, Brendon Kenny and charity AF&V Launchpad are taking part in the Rock2Rock Cycle Ride as part of a team of people cycling over 800 miles in 12 days – setting off from Rock in Cornwall to the Rock of Gibraltar to raise awareness and vital funds for veterans’ charity Launchpad.

Launchpad is a veterans’ charity which provides vital accommodation and support to homeless veterans who have found the transition from the military to civilian life difficult. The charity is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and since 2013, they have supported over 635 veterans. 90% of the veterans who arrive at Launchpad are homeless – either street homeless or sofa-surfing.

Your support for Rock2Rock and Launchpad would be much appreciated by all riders and the veterans living at all three houses!
