I am the Communications and Events Manager of BITA; I organise and host a wide variety of exciting networking and social events across all our chapters, including large networking lunches and golf days. Making sure that our events, services and news are communicated effectively to our members, I make sure that our website and associated sites are working correctly and correspond regularly with our members. I am also the sub-editor and content writer for the BITA magazine, NetWorks.
I have been working in the events industry now for nearly a decade, having started organising weddings and corporate events in the Art Gallery of Calgary. When I returned to the UK, I took a position with nationwide educational charity, Show Racism the Red Card, an organisation that uses sports personalities to run impactful educational events in schools.
Before this I worked in government, and as a teacher and tutor in Italy, so I have a wide range of experiences to draw upon! I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals and love an exciting project to get involved with.
